A sweet-scented shrub, with lime-green fuzzy leaves up to 4" long. The flowers are pale yellow and the plant grows up to 8 feet tall.

Comments on Basil (Indian): Native to north west India and Persia, Indian Basil is now grown in Costa Rica as well.~This oil is an excellent choice as an atiseptic for fungal and other infections, including Candida albicans.~Indian basil may also have a hormone like affect which could benefit prostate problems and is thought to be a good oil for support of Multiple Sclerosis.
