It has been known to assist in promoting overall good health and for enhancing proper skin, respiratory, muscle and joint function. The finest Helichrysum comes from Madagascar. Madagascan Helichrysum has a different odor from the European variety of italicum, but the properties are equally beneficial. Helichrysum is sometimes referred to as "everlasting". Supports the musculoskeletal, respiratory, glandular and immune systems. It is an excellent detoxifier and support for a healthy epidermis. This is one plant that does not do as well when imported and grown in different conditions from its native Madagascar, although plants cultivated in Italy, Yugoslavia, Spain, France and other countries are still found to be very useful.
