Cold expression - fresh, sweet, citrus-peel odour.. Colour of Essential Oil of Lime: Steam distilled is clear, or pale yellow. Cold expression is pale yellow or olive-green. Properties of Essential Oil of Lime: Antibacterial, Antiseptic, Antiviral, Aperitif, Febrifuge. Actions of Essential Oil of Lime: Tonic - general, toning. Circulatory: Anemia, bleeding, circulation problems, high blood pressure, rheumatism, varicose veins. Digestion: Indigestion. Immune: Colds, fever, flu, herpes, infections - general, infectious disease, mouth ulcers, oral thrush, viral infection. Nervous: Anxiety, depression.
