Properties of Essential Oil of Melissa: Analgesic, Antibacterial, Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antiseptic, Antispasmodic, Carminative, Digestive, Diuretic, Emmenagogic, Fungicide, Hypotensive, Nervine, Sedative, Sudorific, Vasodilator. Actions of Essential Oil of Melissa: Anti-depressant, insect repellent, tonic - general. Circulatory: Edema, fluid retention, high blood pressure, palpitations. Digestion: Colic, dysentery, indigestion, nausea, vomiting. Genito-Urinary: Menstrual pain. Immune: Colds, fever, flu. Muscular: Aches and pains, muscle spasms. Nervous: Anxiety, depression, insomnia, vertigo. Respiratory: Asthma, bronchitis, cough. Skeletal: Joint inflammations. Skin: Eczema, insect bites.
