Comments on Palmarosa: Native to India and Pakistan, Palmarosa is now grown in Africa, Indonesia, Brazil, Comoro Islands, Seychelles, Java and Madagascar.~This oil is distilled from the grass before it blossoms.~The highest yield is obtained when the grass is fully dried, about one week after cutting.~There are two varieties of grass, motia and sofia.~The motia provides the best quality oil with the best aroma.~Palmarosa is calming and uplifting to the emotions, resulting in calmer, clearer thinking.~Also, this oil is anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-infectious.....an excellent choice for many diseases and conditions.
