Comments on Patchouli: Originally from India, Patchouli has a long history of medical use in China, Japan and Malaya for colds, headaches, nausea, diarrhea and halitosis.~Patchouli is an excellent fixative, making perfumes last longer, and is particularly good for aging skin, as well as other skin problems.~People seem to either love or hate the aroma of Patchouli.~Often they associate the smell with the '70's, and the memory of that time triggers their reaction.~It is the rich, musky scent that makes Patchouli such a popular aphrodisiac.
