An evergreen tree up to 40 metres high with a flat crown. It has long, stiff needles growing in pairs. The cones are brown in colour and pointed. Bark is reddish brown and deeply grooved.

Circulatory: Gout.
Genito-Urinary: Leucorrhea, urinary tract infection.
